An Autumn Day

Oh, how the fall busyness has come to roost! Part of me loves having so many fun things going on and part of me just wants to go stomp around outside and ignore anything resembling a schedule.

I'm not the world's greatest photographer, but these paint a picture of how I'd like to spend an autumn day. They do feature items from TheRicharmedLife on Etsy, so you can click the captions to go to the listings.

Too Early

Sunday, September 30th~  in which general exhaustion ensued... Not my best day, but it was a good day church-wise. I'm starting my holiday selling season tomorrow. It's exciting, but it also means a crazy schedule from now until the end of the year. I'm already looking forward to our little Thanksgiving trip. =)

Vintage Rudolph book- the cover is trashed but it'd make cute framed artwork.

Still feels too early for all of this!

Rain

Tuesday, May 29th~

The deluge
The rain messed my plans up. Fortunately, this wild 4 year old lives at my house and things are never really dull anyway. I guess I was supposed to spend some time with him and then answer emails. We did venture out to the library and post office. Upon arrival at the post office though, someone realized that the packages were set down when the umbrella was picked up. Oh, well. The library was open at least.

Verse I'm absolutely clinging to today: It is possible for the Lord to look at us without seeing our sins because when He forgave us, He removed our sins as far as the east is from the west.  Psalm 103:12

Summertime Schedule

Monday, May 21st~

At Largo Central Park this morning

This week starts the first week of free mornings for us. I like to have something to do every morning to get us out of the house and get Julian around other kids. Our usual morning, schedule includes a Mommy & Me exercise & play group, Body Sculpting, library story time, Bible study and the occasional MOPS meeting. Just about all of these things stop over the summer so we're left to entertain ourselves. I think I'm okay with that because I'm just feeling burnt out. Julian's started playing with the girl next door more so it's nice that he can just go outside and play. I do plan on continuing the swim lessons and some beach mornings and splash park afternoons. Guess we'll just play it by ear!

A Nice Day

Friday, May 18, 2012~

Such a nice day... We met up with daddy for lunch and then ran errands. I know once Julian starts school this fall, our schedule will be much more rigid and my morning errands will be done solo. Sometimes it's a pain to have to reign in a 4 year old at the store, but I'll miss these moments and the real, unposed little smiles he bestows on me when we're out and about.

Tonight Jason picked up sushi from our favorite little place and we just hung out here at home. I really don't mind a quiet Friday night these days. We still get out a bit during the week. Jason and I have just been eating up Season 2 of LOST and we have ways of entertaining ourselves so even a night in isn't boring!
