Noticed this guy on my car today- kinda feeling the same way!


   And we are definitely back. Today reality hits. Drago has some serious issues with his eyes while we were gone. We still don't have functioning air conditioning in the main part of the house. The TV is broken. Then the main light in the living room blew out and we're sitting in a hot, humid, dark house. I've got 16 orders to ship. I've got 2 dinners to shop for and cook. At least I unpacked yesterday.

Vacation Mode vs. Notices

I shipped almost a dozen packages today! I struggled over putting my Etsy shops in "Vacation mode" or just putting a notice up in my shop announcement that stuff wouldn't ship for a few weeks. I decided to just do the notice and I'm pleased with the results. We'll see if I get any bad feedback about things taking a long time to ship though. People don't always read the info area. I did also put a blurb on the order confirmation email too, so I'm hoping they at least read that. 

Last night I told Julian I'd take him to the sprayground, but this morning's gray clouds and storms delayed us a bit. We did make it though! It ended up being much less crowded in the late afternoon so that may end up being the time we go this summer.

Return of Saturn

from June 21st~


Had hoped today would be a stay-at-home all day in our pajamas sort of day. It did not quite happen but still was decent enough. We're unpacked and laundry is mostly done. Tomorrow I have a lot of packages to ship. Julian has also asserted that he wants to go "somewhere". I think our trip spoiled him a little. He also asked if we were going to the airport this afternoon. The nearest I want to be to an airplane is starting the final season of LOST tonight!
