Julian enjoying a nice jog up one of grandpa's runways

It's a sad occasion, but it's still good to be with family. My Aunt Patricia arrived this morning followed by my brother and his girlfriend, Lori. My sister and niece and nephew have been here since Monday. There's lots to do before the funeral tomorrow. Everyone is just so tired. Well, everyone but the kiddos... =p

Drained

Thursday, July 5th~

Drago will be 13 in September

I feel like I need to write something spiritual or at least Etsy related. I got nothing. I'm feeling like a drained snow globe these days. Well, here's what I'm thinking- lately I have no interest in doing any studies or reading cutesy little devotionals. It's just been a lot of praying and trusting that things are going to work out and that one day this fog will lift. I think it's okay for there to be times like this.

Psalm 147:3 – He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

(Is it obvious that I'm totally over this photo-of-the-day thing?
Photographing food is an indication of a total lack of interest...)

Goat Cheese & Arugula

That feeling like a drained snow globe? Yeah, that's me today. And for no good reason. Maybe the Island is affecting me- too much LOST too fast. At least the food's been pretty good lately. I need a verse.  I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Taking Care

from Wednesday, April 4, 2012~

Think we are just about ready for Easter! He's practicing his pixie stick technique. I could use a sugar rush about now. Today was full and it was mostly good stuff, but tonight I find myself just drained. We were in band practice until close to 10 pm so that's a big part of it. The rest is emotional, I think. I'm very up and down lately. It's late nights, poor food choices, and just a lot on my heart and mind. Think I need to pray more and take care of myself a little better.

Colossians 4:2 " Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart."
