Fall 2015

My picks for fall, all available on dear Etsy! (See the entire look board and item listings on Etsy by clicking here.)

India on my Mind

It is hot. Florida mostly is so this is no surprise. Still, my mind always goes to India when it's hot like this. It's the hottest place I've ever been. While I definitely remember the sweat, I can't help but also think about how bright and beautiful it can be.

I've created an Etsy treasury of some of my favorite Indian pieces. Click here to see it.

This awesome bag is from Seven Billion Buddhas.

Isn't this mirrored and embroidered wall hanging versatile?! From Hunter Gatherer

It's All Roses

I listed a few vintage art pieces in my Etsy shop today. It's the first stuff I've listed since before May. It's still hard to do with Jane needing so much attention. Still, I was happy to just be back at it. One of things I listed is a needlework rose piece. There's something Victorian about it. Roses have that classic beauty that just exudes romance no matter what century or culture is portraying them. Here's a few picks from my shop and a few other favorites from Etsy. Bohemian Danglers

I really like bohemian styling- more is more is more. Pretty or playful, it all adds interest. I had that in mind when I got the request to make some purse ornaments for the Safety Harbor boutique. Pretty much all of the original ones I made sold. Since I really only do one-of-a-kind pieces, it took me awhile to make more up, but I did finally get them made and posted! A Superior Key Chain

Tuesday, September 25th~

This blog is long overdue, but, uh, product testing, right? I always have a decent sized amount of keys and a ragtag assortment of key chains holding them. They fall apart and then I just have random rings. So, when I saw KC's gorgeous leather version, I thought to myself, This is not going to fall apart anytime soon!

I have to say, it's exceeded my expectations. I underestimated how awesome having the large clip on one end would be. Some of my purses are huge- I can clip this to the strap and never key hunt again. Oh, and did I mention these are LESS than $10? Real leather, solid hardware, you can't beat that price. Anyway, I'm already thinking about Christmas. These are going to be my stocking stuffer of choice. Go check out KC's Etsy shop  at http://www.etsy.com/shop/BirdhouseDesigns.

I inherited the Darth Vader key chain from Jason somehow

Love this yellow color!
