Asian Paper Bird Fans

Even I grow tired of moaning about the heat! I imagine one day we will finally install central heat & air and my body will have complete season confusion. Anyway, a few years back I found two boxes of vintage Asian paper fans. I started to photograph them to sell and as I went to list them, I just couldn't get my wording right or decide to sell them by the box or individually or even really if I wanted to sell them. Here in Florida, having a ready supply of cute fans isn't a bad thing! Anyway, until I make up my mind, here are some photos of said fans.

Hotness

Sunday, July 1, 2012~

Work, dang it!

Welcome to July. Hot enough for ya? We don't have central air and now our main wall unit broke. And the new windows we ordered in MARCH have yet to be installed. Our old screen frames are bent and let in mosquitoes when the windows are open, so we can't really keep them open. It is freakin' hot in here. So if I'm crabby a bit, you know why.

Move It or Lose It

Tuesday, April 3rd~

His shirt says King of the Road, hee hee...

While our house was being cleaned, Julian and I took a lap around the neighborhood. It's heating up! Heat is something I'm not a big fan of. When I was a kid, I think it was fear of eternal fire that led my to accept Jesus as my savior. In time my reasons changed, but the idea of Hell just scared me to death. I hate to think of anyone being there. So I'm putting aside my anxiety, baking up some cookies tonight and walking over to the neighbors and inviting them to find out the true meaning of Easter this weekend. I don't think they'll be interested, but you never know.
