Tomorrow

This is my last post before I leave for Asia. My emotions are starting to become mixed. I'm so excited to go but every time I look at my son I'm reminded that I'm leaving him for a decent amount of time. He's going to change. At this age, every week there is something new they do and with him, he grows! Still I can't get away from Luke 14:26 "If you want to be my disciple, you must hate everyone else by comparison--your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters--yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple."  I regard the separation from my husband and son and how hard it will be for all of us, but it never stood a chance of stopping me from going down this path I've been called to.

Today's prayer request is for the unity of the team. Pray ...

  • That we would be of one mind, united in prayer and enjoy fellowship with each other
  • That we would be sensitive to the needs of each other and encouraging each other
  • That everyone on the team would seek God and be obedient to Him.

(What's all this about? See this blog.)

I'll be praying for safe travels for you Julie. Not everyone could do what you're doing. God will take care of your husband and son while you're gone. Will look forward to your blog posts when you return. God bless.
