TBEC Pre-Party Prep Night

So that's the picture of the day.^ ^

Last night our TBEC group got together at Tampa Upcycle to work on the decorations for the big party in August. It was fun. Someone donated a ton of old orange grove posters and advertisements. The maps for our original idea never materialized, so it just seemed like our theme came to us. Anyway, it's always good to meet fellow Etsians, especially Crew members!

Love

Tuesday, February 14th~

   Valentine's Day! I'm all crafty lately. I made this today. They're super easy- just chalk, paper & scissors required. 

   I always feel pressure to extol on love on Valentine's Day, but I still have quite a few friends who haven't found the romantic love the day celebrates. I don't like the idea that love is for some, but not others. So why not write about the kind of love that we all have in common.

    In this the love of God was made manifest among us, 
that God sent his only Son into the world, 
so that we might live through him. 
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us 
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 
Beloved, if God so loved us, 
we also ought to love one another.  
-1 John 4:9-11
