Move It or Lose It

His shirt says King of the Road, hee hee...

While our house was being cleaned, Julian and I took a lap around the neighborhood. It's heating up! Heat is something I'm not a big fan of. When I was a kid, I think it was fear of eternal fire that led my to accept Jesus as my savior. In time my reasons changed, but the idea of Hell just scared me to death. I hate to think of anyone being there. So I'm putting aside my anxiety, baking up some cookies tonight and walking over to the neighbors and inviting them to find out the true meaning of Easter this weekend. I don't think they'll be interested, but you never know.

I've been working up the nerve to ask a coworker to Easter church. Why is that so hard to do? Even if she says no I don't think it will affect our relationship, and I do believe God put her on my heart. For some of us, though, putting ourselves out there like this is so hard. How did your neighbors respond?

I went over last night and gave her the cookies and we got to talking. I just didn't feel like the time was right. I really felt a restraining feeling so I'm going to see if I feel more freedom in the next day or so or if I need to build that relationship more first. Our other neighbor hasn't been home all week!
