Safety Prayer

Feel like most of today was spent inside a vehicle. Oh, wait... it was! It was all on the way to good things so it wasn't that bad. Seems like there are accidents all over the place so I'm just thankful for God's protection on the road.
As
I arise today, may the strength of God pilot me, the power of God
uphold me, the wisdom of God guide me. May the eye of God look
before me, the ear of God hear me, the Word of God speak for me.
May the hand of God protect me, the way of God lie before me, the
shield of God defend me, the host of God save me. May Christ
shield me today. Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind
me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on
my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lay down, Christ when
I sit, Christ when I stand, Christ in the heart of everyone who
thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears
me.
Taking Care

Think we are just about ready for Easter! He's practicing his pixie stick technique. I could use a sugar rush about now. Today was full and it was mostly good stuff, but tonight I find myself just drained. We were in band practice until close to 10 pm so that's a big part of it. The rest is emotional, I think. I'm very up and down lately. It's late nights, poor food choices, and just a lot on my heart and mind. Think I need to pray more and take care of myself a little better.
Colossians 4:2 " Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart."
