Pianist

Aaaah, a piano! If you're a player and grew up with a piano in your home, your own home just doesn't feel complete with out one. They're not cheap though. They're definitely not easy to move either. It's just something I wish listed and, to be honest, really hadn't thought much about since having Julian. When my in-laws decided to move, they offered me their piano. I jumped at the chance!
The piano relocated to my house today. I dug out my music and just sat and played. Julian thought it was great. Maybe he'll want to play too. I forgot how relaxing it is to just sit and play. I'm very rusty, but with a little practice, I believe it will all come back. And I don't want to play modern music, I just want to play my old fashioned hymns and classical arrangements: Bach, Beethoven, Chopin... It's like reading a favorite book again.

I can feel the genius.
Oh my goodness, I am THRILLED for you! As a fellow piano player without one for a long time, I too, recently received a piano!!! This is the first time in 13 yrs of marriage I've had one in my own house. And I've been the same way for months now. It's a great way to worship, center myself, relax, etc. And I pulled out all the old stuff too. But I did find an online sheet music place where I've purchased a couple of new pieces. ENJOY!!!

Eventually, once I've regained my skills, I do think I'll get more music. Right now I'm just reconnection all the dots!
