My parents are always on the lookout for unique items I can use in my jewelry. I'm always surprised with what they find. Last year they came across Afghanistan Antique Glass. This glass dates from the Roman empire and was most likely from a bottle. It's 1,000-1,800 years old. Mom & dad brought back several pieces. I've made necklaces for my mom & sister, but can't seem to make up my mind what to do with the piece I'm keeping for myself. My shard is brown with unbelievable red and green iridescence. The photo is of the only one I've made up to sell so far.
