Finding the Beautiful

I don't spend enough time in Ecclesiastes. I mean, I can barely spell it and I minored in Bible! Anyway, I found myself there this morning. I don't have an ugly life by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, my life is full and very blessed. Still there are moments when I just don't know how God is going to work out a situation or why certain things have happened. I felt like God really gave these verses to me this morning and I want to share them.

Ecclesiastes 3:11-15 (NIV)

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.
 15 Whatever is has already been,
   and what will be has been before;
   and God will call the past to account.

What a reminder of God's working and His timing! That was especially meaningful to me as I was approaching getting married, which is why I had "In His Time" be part of the ceremony. It's good to be reminded to trust Him fully.
