When I was younger I use to think that maybe heaven didn't sound like too much fun. I thought it would be exciting at first to see everyone else and to actually see God. I thought it would be interesting to talk about all those things I've wanted to ask God. I like to sing, I like to eat, so those things sounded okay too. But I always had this question of what after all that, won't we get bored at some point? I couldn't imagine being content with that. I had the Judgement House image of everyone being in white and walking around quietly or singing for hours and hours


Of course over the years, I 've had opportunity to study Revelations a couple times and while it certainly maintains the mystery, I do know God still has a purpose for us and we won't just be drifting around. As I grow as a Christian though, I long more and more just to be with God so even if that were it, that would be more than enough. I'm lucky to get to sing with the church praise band and over the years it's really made me look forward to being able to sing my praise directly to God and tell Him face to face how much I love Him and how magnificent He is.
