Agate Necklaces

Working on inventory for my holiday sales. It's fun, but it's also a little extra stressful this year because we are going away for the holidays. I'll miss the last minute sale venues, but really I need to make some money for the trip. We really shouldn't be going away this year, but there are things beyond our control that make it very important too. I believe it's my grandmother's last Christmas and my parents are home from India for the holidays, which they only do once every 5 years. I want to go, we have to go, it's just hard on the budget!

This spring I got a handful of the Turkish agate slices I like. My contact for those moved away, so it'll probably be my last bunch for a while. I'm not sure where else I can find ones that are heat treated, not dyed, and are fair trade. I've made just about all of them up. The necklaces won't be on Etsy until next week so if you want them before that you'll have to come see me at Harborside this weekend.

I love how you have used the agates as focals, beautiful works.

God will provide, so enjoy your trip!

Like you, my holidays promise to be as stressful as last year. I don't think I'll be sleeping until after Christmas Eve! As for your unintended trip - just remember that the memories gained will be priceless!
